Professional practice
A practising lawyer since 2003, specialising in matters related to shipping law and, more specifically, yachting. He is a lecturer on the master’s degree in Shipping law and Business at the Barcelona Nautical Faculty, as well as other postgraduate courses specialising in boating.
Carlos was appointed Maritime Ambassador of the IMO (International Maritime Organisation) for Spain in 2017, renewing this distinction for a second term. Carlos joined the firm in 2016.

Education
Law degree from the University of Valencia (2001). Master’s degree in Shipping law and Maritime Business and Port Management (Shipping Business) from the Faculty of Nautical Studies of Barcelona (UPC) and master’s degree in management of Nautical Port Facilities.
